New Orleans Style Brass Band
Modern New Orleans style brass bands have a unique sound that draws influences from jazz, rock, blues and traditional dixieland styles.
The Salty Dawgs play brass band covers of popular tunes as well as a few traditional favourites. The band features a sousaphone instead of a bass, and the horns take the centre focus in the powerful, energetic sound.
